Tui Samoa is a 1,470 km long cable connecting Fiji and Samoa, with branch units linking Fiji's Vanua Levu, Wallis, & Futuna. The cable, built by Alcatel and operated by the Samoa Submarine Cable Company (SSCC), is capable of carrying 8 Tbps using 100 Gbps wavelengths. SSCC is a wholesaler who provides both IRUs on their cable, and bandwidth services terminating in the US via the Southern Cross Cable Network.
