Wallis & Futuna

Until 2018 the Service des Postes et des Télécommunications Wallis et Futuna provided post and telephony service to this small French collectivity. With geostationary satellite backhaul, they provided fixed line telephony, ADSL broadband, and 3g/4g mobile services.

Coinciding with the arrival of the Tui Samoa submarine cable, the government of Wallis & Futuna entered into an arrangement with France's Orange SA. Orange is now operating the country's mobile network. Satellite provider Speedcast is also providing bandwidth into the country.
