bmobile entered the PNG market in 2009 and is a 2g/3g mobile network operator in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.. Vodafone came on as a partner to bmobile in 2014. Since 2016 bMobile has been 100% owned by PNG government's Kumul Telikom Holdings.
