The Eastern Micronesia Cable will link Pohnpei and Kosrae in the Federated States of Micronesia with Nauru and Tarawa, Kiribati. The cable is being funded by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. It will have an initial design capacity of 500 Gbps, and will be commissioned with 100 Gbps of capacity.
